In Australia there are people come from all over the world to travel, work and live. So yes… there are plenty of people that can speak Spanish here.

Of course there are Spanish speaking people in Australia, they could be from Latin Countries that have emigrated there.
But since you seem to also speak English you don’t need to speak Spanish while in Australia.

Yes, at least in the big cities there are active groups of hispanohablantes. In Melbourne, there’s a Spanish precinct in Fitzroy, and they have a street party each year. The Instituto Cervantes is represented in Australia, and in most states you can choose to study Spanish in schools. The public broadcaster SBS has a Spanish radio program:
