I am looking to have fun, late nights and partying. I want to experience the Aussie lifestyle. Which, city is best for this?????
If you want fun, late nights, partying and fantastic weather so you can do all of those things in comfort all year ’round, come to Brisbane. Sydney’s overcrowded, incredibly expensive and the weather isn’t anywhere near as good a Brisbane’s.

If you can squeeze in some education on top of the partying etc., the University of Queensland in Brisbane is every bit as good as any Sydney uni. Uni of Sydney ranks #3 in Australia and UQ is #4. Sydney uni ranks #31 in the world, UQ is #33. Close enough to guarantee that you’ll get a great education.

I think Sydney has a better nightlife, and better resources for studying…Brisbane is a bit cheaper, and better weather & beaches. I would personally choose Sydney.

It depends on the lifestyle you’re after. If you like a beachy lifestyle where you can surf and swim, the go for Brisbane. But if you love the nightlife and shopping, go for Sydney. Plus, Sydney has better universities.

Brisbane or Sydney aether all are same defends what course your taking, brissy and Syd got all sort off night life,. but if you prepare a bit warmer weather Brisbane will be my choice its tropical state,..has got awesome beach,.knock out restaurant,.nice friendly people around..

Brisbane. The real Aussie lifestyle with the nicer people. Has great nightclubs and best beaches. Also great weather, sydney rain a fair bit and is cooler.
But it is up to you.

We have good weather in Summer and have wonderful beaches around victoria….
There are a lot of reasons why Melbourne is Better than Sydney, here’s some:

- Nicer people. Sydney people can be rude!
- Has an arts and entertainment culture (Sydney doesn’t!!!)
- We host the International Melbourne Comedy Festival, Grand Prix, Moomba and various other festivals
- Our CBD is easier to navigate
- We have trams and not lightrail

- People come down to Melbourne to shop
- We hosted the World Swimming Championships
- AFL comes from Melbourne – much better than that NRL crap
- Our Lord Mayor is John So. Everyone knows that he rocks!

- Own experience with people with anger management problems coming from Sydney
- Melbourne has better drivers – Sydney drivers have anger management issues (generally, Sydney people are just angry, see above – people who SLAM audit files in rooms and books on desks in an office environment, isn’t that right?)
- Traffic is better in Melbourne
- Melbourne has more markets for getting fresh fruit, produce and other cool stuff. There’s Queen Victoria, Preston, Prahran, South Melbourne and many more!
- Melbourne is grid layout, north east south west. Sydney is a nauseating rollercoaster.
- Fashionable, friendly. funky, fun, vibe, bars, parks, basically how ugly is George St? How beautiful is Collins St?Adds to our AWESOME nightlife
- We don’t have ugly beach riots like Cronulla!
- We also have the national champion football (Melbourne Victory) club… and the countries greatest high school, aptly named, Melbourne High School (also not forgetting MacRob for the girls)
- Better architecture rather than relying on the Harbour and Opera House for everything!
- We have the biggest shopping complex in the southern hemisphere – Chaddy!
- Crown Casino kicks Star City’s ass!
- Cheaper booze
- FASHION!
- We have the Eureka Tower – tallest residential building in the world!
- Oscar winner Cate Blanchett comes from Melbourne! (and MLC)
- Public transport is so much damn cheaper!
- We have the Aus Open and Kooyong Classic, which kicks Adidas international tournament’s ass
- Worst coffee ever in Sydney
- Melbourne doesn’t have a stupid monorail!
- More expensive accommodation in Sydney and property in general
- Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival time, not to mention the Melbourne Cup!
- MCG is a much better stadium than SCG

- Monopoly Board which features Melbourne

- Melbourne had the first ever cricket test match
- Bigger agricultural show
- The Melbourne Cup and really awesome Spring Carnival

- Melbourne also has the best fire-twirlers in Aust
melbourne is the sporting capital, all the best sporting people from around the world come to our city
- We were the capital city of Australia before Canberra… They’ve never been and never will be!

Brisbane all the way Sydney has got the nite life the whole 24 hour clubs but brissy has the people and the lifestyle and brissy is alot smaller compared to Sydney we also have the gold and sunshine coasts if u like beaches but i am from Brisbane so i may be a bit biased

As you will be out partying all night, and studying during the day you will run into the ultimate problem: lack of money.
And no time to work for it.
So Brisbane should be your answer — its a lot cheaper than Sydney.
